Ways to Support Our Parish

- Ministries and Councils

We understand that our parishioners lives and employment may become affected by the corona virus and quarantine. If you are able to, please consider donating to our parish using the following methods. We are needing your support to pay for ongoing parish expenses, and appreciate any and all donations.
1. WeShare online donation link here. Your donation is sent directly to the parish or school.
2. Mail in your weekly or monthly parish support donation
3. Use your bank's website to set up electronic payments. Most banks don't charge you or the parish for this service.
4. You can also support the parish and school by using Amazon Smile and designating your donation to our parish or school.
5. Benefit Mobile (gift and store cards) also has an app for your smartphone. Download in your phone's app store.
Our parish provides several methods for parishioners to make their offertory contributions. We also provide a list of options that parishioners can include in their estate planning.
ENVELOPES
Registered parishioners receive a packet of contribution envelopes every other month, which includes envelopes for Sundays, holy days, special collections, the maintenance fund, and for support of Sacred Heart Catholic School. These envelopes are placed in the collection baskets during the Offertory at each weekend Mass. Please call the parish office 503-792-4231 if you are not currently receiving offering envelopes but wish to.

ON-LINE CHECKING (BANK BILL PAY FEATURE)
Most parishioners can also arrange through their bank to have electronically created checks mailed from their bank to the church. This is a free service offered by most banks. It is important that the check show the parishioner’s name and envelope account number and the purpose for the check, such as Sunday, Campaign, Holy Day, etc. Checks should be made payable to:

ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (EFT)
Parishioners can also create an account with WeShare, through which money is deducted from the person’s bank account (checking or savings) or credit card and deposited directly into the church’s bank account. We Share accounts can be created and donations specified by going to the WeShare website by clicking here.

Parishioners may also call the WeShare company for assistance in creating an account for themselves at 1-800-950-9952, Option 1.

PLANNED GIVING
Through various planned giving options, parishioners are able to designate proceeds from their estates to be transferred to their church. Please discuss with your financial advisor or estate administrator your wishes to provide a bequest to our parish. You may also contact the parish bookkeeper or pastor to discuss a bequest to the parish.
